Chandelier caught on camera

Shopping has never been as easy, with access to so many sites through the internet, shopping can be done with ease.  Shopping for anything from cameras, films and home wear has been made simple through the use of the internet.  Home improvement and interior design is just one of the many topics which you can find easily on the web.  If you are looking for something a little different for the home such as chandelier (Kronleuchter) and accessories which are unique, then the worldwide web is the place to get them.  Interior design has changed over the years, and in British homes there has been a vast improvement in the way we live, and peoples lifestyle in general.  Back in the 1940’s during the war years, televisions weren’t an item in peoples homes, the only form of communication in them days was the radio.  Telephones were not seen in homes and the general décor was totally different from that of today.  Kitchens in general were just made up of a sink and a cooker, with most cookers working off coal.

It wasn’t until the 1950’s when people started to have fitted kitchens in their houses.  The décor changed from being drabby to a bit more on the funky side, with themes for houses being taken from the American’s and cafés in England having juke boxes with neon lights in, installed in them.  The 1960’s was a time to chill out and a time for free love for everyone, and the colours which were chosen for homes very much reflected what the 1960’s were all about.

The 1970’s saw colours such as greens and browns used in bold on the walls of houses, and also saw them used on carpets and curtains.  These colours were wiped out in the 1980’s with most people vowing never to have them done again.  These last couple of years have seen these bold colours used once more.  But people tend to use them as a statement, rather than covering the whole house in them.  Homes tend to stick with the theme of staying neutral, but having accessories to make a statement, accessories such as cushions, furnishings, chandelier (Lüster) and fabric is generally used.
